A young woman gave birth to twins, and because she knew she could not take care of them, she gave them up for adoption. One was adopted by an arab family and named Amal. The other was adopted by a hispanic family and named Juan.
The years passed, and one day, out of the blue, she received a letter and a photograph from Juan stating that he had found his brother, and had searched all over for her and had finally found her. She looked at the photograph with tears in her eyes. Two days later, she received another letter from Amal, and a photograph. She read the letter, but discarded the photograph.
Why did she do this?
