The only thing worse than moving

…is moving from one cubicle into another, particularly when it’s a temporary move and I can’t take all my stuff with me because I’ll be moving into a smaller space for the time being. I don’t even know where I’m going. And dammit, I can’t take my SETI@home computers with me! I have two PCs in my cubicle running RedHat Linux that do nothing but SETI@home computations, 24×7. And apparently I’m gonna have to ditch them somewhere until they’re done doing whatever it is they’re going to do to this area. I think they’re renovating the cubicle farm. I don’t care, I wish they’d work around me. Is that too selfish?
