An Unconventional, No-Apologies Exposition of God’s Grace from a Reformed Methodist Point of View

Pastor R. Bret Walker is the senior pastor at Hudson UMC in Pedricktown, NJ, and Ebenezer UMC in Auburn, NJ.

I get the distinct feeling that starting this LiveJournal is a huge mistake on my part. So was installing KaZaA on my PC at work. Yesterday I downloaded a bunch of shit from Seven Year Bitch, The Donnas, Little Feat, and Pantera. Yeah, it’s an odd mix of music, whatever. I’ve got about 14 hours of music on my PC here, so when I start it up in the morning and put it on shuffle, I can guarantee you I won’t hear the same song twice in a day. It’s awesome. I sometimes wonder about my cubicle neighbors, whether they appreciate my tastes in music or not. I know the one guy I work with, Chris, he seems OK with my listening selection. Which is actually surprising; I never would’ve pegged him for a punk rock guy. He seems too straight-laced and dorky. But then again, aren’t we all in one way or another?

I’m always most afraid of what will be said when one of my Max the Dork songs comes on. Especially Ode to Ed. That song seems a bit harsh for the working environment here at the FAA. Eh, nobody’s complained yet.
